Bulk Foam Tender (BFT)

Description

Bulk Foam Tender is designed to provide a continuous supply of foam concentrate to the First Intervention Vehicle for prolonged fire fighting operation with foam. Apart from equipping with a foam tank in 3 compartments of a total capacity of 10,000 litres and a small foam tank of training of 200 litres, the fire appliance has a roof mounted foam monitor, a water pump of 3,600 litres/min. and a foam concentrate transfer pump of 500 litres/min.

Function

To supply foam concentrate to the First Intervention Vehicle for prolonged fuel oil fire fighting using foam. To supply pre-mixed foam solution to remote foam monitor for prolonged fuel oil fire fighting using foam. To carry out fuel oil fire fighting using foam with the roof mounted remote controlled monitor.
