Terms
of Reference
To advise the Director of Fire Services on technical issues
arising from loan applications for fire safety improvement
works on a case by case basis, as and when required.
Loans
for Fire Safety Improvement Works
A Building Safety Loan Scheme administered by the Director
of Buildings has been set up to provide assistance to owners
in improving fire/structural safety of their premises or buildings.
The Director of Buildings will refer loan applications in
respect of fire safety improvement works to the Director of
Fire Services for processing. In this respect, a Loan Scheme
Supporting Team has been set up under the Fire Safety Command
of Fire Services Department to co-ordinate the processing
of such loan applications.
