from the Director of Fire Services
It
is our mission to extinguish fire and protect life and property
in case of fire or other calamity. We advise the public
on fire protection measures and fire hazards, and promote
public awareness of the importance of fire safety. We provide
pre-hospital care to the sick and injured and convey them
to hospital. We aim to fulfill the above mission expeditiously
and effectively.
To
provide the best services to the community, we must be visible
and accessible by the public. We have therefore adopted
a proactive approach in promoting public awareness and understanding
of our work through a variety of community involvement programmes.
The introduction of this home-page is one of our initiatives
to reach out to the community we serve.
We
will update our homepage from time to time because we know
full well that timely dissemination of information will lead
to better understanding of our work and developments by the
community both locally and overseas.
We
