Aluminized Proximity Suit

The
whole proximity suit comprises of a coverall, gloves, boots and a hood
with gold reflective face-shield. It can also accommodate the wearer donning
self-contained breathing apparatus inside.

Proximity
firefighting operations include aircraft rescue and firefighting, bulk
flammable liquids firefighting, flammable gas firefighting, and similar
situations releasing high levels of radiant heat. The aluminized fabric
provides a reflective outer surface to withstand radiant heat of over
1,000 °C.
