Description
|
The
high expansion foam generator consists of a pourer and an eductor. The
fan of the pourer which is driven directly from the shaft of a water turbine
supplies an air stream to spray a foam solution on to the surface of the
screen. The action of mixing the air/foam solution and blowing the mixture
through the screen produces foam. |
|
Function
|
The
foam generator is used to apply high expansion foam to fires within enclosed
spaces e.g. basement etc. The foam can expel hot gases and smoke from
a fire ground for cooling purposes. |
