Infection Control and Critical Care Transfer Ambulance is equipped with Negative Pressure System, Automatic Disinfection System, battery-powered hydraulic stretcher installed with Critical Care Conversion Kit (composed of specialized rails and mountings for intensive care medical equipment) and hydraulic tail-lifts, enabling the handling of patients with special transport needs.

Infection Control and Critical Care Transfer Ambulance is deployed as a patient-conveying vehicle for "High Consequence Infectious Diseases (HCIDs)" and/or critical patients requiring the use of special medical equipment (e.g. Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO), Intra-aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) etc.), with a view to enhancing patient conveyance capability, safety and operational efficiency.
