Terms of Reference
To advise the Director of Fire Services on the following:
- technical issues regarding the building fire safety upgrading works;
- cost issues;
- alternative fire safety measures either proposed by the owners themselves or the Committee;
- minimum level of building fire safety upgrading works to meet the mandatory requirements;
- structural integrity of the building or part of the building as affected by proposed fire safety upgrading works; and
- factors for the authority to consider in determining how buildings are to be prioritized in respect of powers relating to carrying out of fire safety improvement works by enforcement authorities.
